People of Perficient: Spotlight on Cecilia Prieto

    July 4, 2025

If you ask Cecilia Prieto what makes her proud to be at Perficient, her answer is simple but powerful: “The people.” And it’s not just something she says—it’s how she works, leads, and shows up every day.

As a lead talent acquisition specialist – Focal Point, Cecilia plays a critical role in connecting top talent with opportunity. For over five and a half years, she has partnered closely with our different portfolios to ensure that the right people are in the right roles—whether sourced from within our talent pool or brought in from outside the organization.

“My job is all about finding the best professional match for our clients,” said Cecilia. “But beyond that, it’s about listening, solving problems, and helping people grow.”

    A Day in the Life

From managing candidate pipelines to supporting HR and site initiatives in Uruguay, no two days are ever quite the same for Cecilia. She is known for her proactive mindset and ability to turn challenges into solutions—something that is deeply appreciated by both her team and our clients.

“When you encounter a problem, don’t stop at the complaint. Find a way forward. Being solution-oriented is what truly adds value.”

    Growth, Resilience, and Teamwork

Cecilia’s time at Perficient has been marked by continuous learning and career evolution. From leading processes and training new team members to contributing fresh ideas, she’s embraced every challenge as an opportunity to grow.

Personally, she’s proud of the milestones she’s achieved outside of work—from improving her daughter’s education to buying her own home. These accomplishments are a reflection of her dedication, both professionally and personally.

“Perficient has taught me that change is constant—and that stepping out of your comfort zone can lead to something great.”

    Culture, Collaboration, and Community

If you’ve ever visited our Montevideo office, you’ve probably felt the warmth and camaraderie that Cecilia describes.

“We have such a collaborative environment here. We eat lunch together, share breakfasts, and never miss an after-office gathering. I usually go in every Tuesday and Thursday, and always for events or new hires—those moments matter.”

Her favorite Perficient value? Collaboration. It fuels her passion and shapes her leadership.

“I truly believe the best results come from teamwork and diverse perspectives. When we support each other, we all grow.”

    Balancing Work and Life—with Heart

Cecilia is passionate about maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Whether it’s walking along the rambla, cooking with family, or just enjoying a good conversation, she knows how to recharge so she can bring her best self to work.

“I’m someone who enjoys the simple things—sharing a meal, organizing my home, spending time with the people I love. That’s what gives me the energy to keep moving forward.”

Advice for New Perficient Team Members

For anyone starting their journey at Perficient, Cecilia has some words of wisdom:

    • Say yes to every learning opportunity.
    • Join English classes and participate in team events.
    • Embrace feedback—it’s key to growth.
    • And above all, stay open.

“Perficient offers so many chances to learn and grow. Take them. Be present. And don’t be afraid to stretch yourself.”

    Why She’s #ProudlyPerficient

Cecilia is proud to be part of a company that aligns with her values—collaboration, continuous learning, inclusion, and doing the right thing.

“We’re not just delivering results for our clients; we’re also supporting our communities and each other. That’s what makes this place special.”
